July Summer Update

Hello everyone,

First of all, happy summer holidays! To celebrate our 2 year anniversary, we would like to announce our biggest update yet to our site and what is going to happen and change in AppCracker during this summer.

AppCracker 1.4 was officially completed when the New Banner was updated. We are now introducing AppCracker 1.5 into our website. Some of the update might already be applied to our website before this announcement. AppCracker 1.5 includes a New Icon & Logo, New Header, FAQ and so much more. More details will be posted in a separate post Special thanks to our graphic designer DM251 for creating these awesome logo and headers. These will be applied to the website within the week and there are still some exciting things that will be coming to AppCracker. The comments inside Mac Apps & Games Section will now be removed and disabled as the comments is already in our records/logged. Yes, all comments! There will be a new comments page which you can request us to put onto AppCracker and don’t expect our reply as this is only for our records only.

We have been listened to your feedbacks and comments and we are trying our very best to make our ported wrappers as stable and native as possible. So some of them will now be using WineBottler instead of Wineskin if possible as Wineskin sometimes needs extra installation which it requires our team to respond and assist. We made it so much simpler so that you can just launch the game without any complicated or difficult configuration. And because of that, we are also launching a different variety of apps to our website. Such as Stardew Valley, Rabi-Ribi, Minecraft Story Mode Episode 6 and so much more. As no famous game crackers has updated the crack for The Sims 4, we could not update the wrapper at the moment but what we could do is making the wrapper more stable. We used lots of time to make this game as native as possible but we couldn’t but we would try our best to make it as stable as possible. We will soon be testing our “Ported from Win” apps in the macOS 10.12 Sierra later on to make sure it works for you. It will be in a separate post specifically about that if there is any issues or related.

We certainly you are going to love these awesome new features and brand new apps and games and we hope you will have a lovely summer holiday. We would also like to thank to those who participated a lot of things that helped improving our site. Such as app submission, advanced support (Twitter DM, Skype), app ports, app requests, suggestions and much more that I couldn’t explain in just this update.
